The heat has come and traveling by car is an agony if the Air Conditioning doesn’t work properly.
When the air conditioning systems in cars are back to their normal (and often intense) performances, sometimes we find out that the circuit has problems of refrigerant gas leakages: this way cooling the cockpits becomes a very difficult operation.
HOW DOES THE VEHICLE AIR CONDITIONING WORK?
We have become accustomed to the air conditioner in the car and its function is comforting, especially in the summer months. However, only few know their real composition.
Born in America in the 30s, the air conditioning system for vehicles is composed of the same elements of the refrigeration and air conditioning circuits (refrigerators and equipment for buildings).
Going into details of its functionality, the process of “creating the air conditioning” occurs in this way:
The compressor compresses the refrigerant gas inside the circuit, turning it into a liquid
By pushing the refrigerant gas into the condenser, the heat exchange is created in which the liquid is heated, thus returning to its vapor state
Then the gas goes to the expansion valve, where it cools, losing pressure
It reaches the evaporator, where it finds the external air sucked by the fan
The contact between the external hot air and the cold evaporator exchanges heat again: the air that arrives from the outside cools and loses its humid component
WHY DO AIR CONDITIONING FOR CARS LOSE REFRIGERANT GAS?
Corrosion, a non-welded joint and poor installation are among a range of problems that can often cause gas and its lubricants to leak in air conditioning and refrigerant systems.
AC/R systems are obviously under wear processes and require maintenance. Over the years, micro leakages formations are inevitable because of different causes:
Acid formation within the circuit
The A/C system in car is a circuit in motion and therefore under constant stress. Potholes, poorly paved roads and speed bumps significantly stress the joints of the system, leading to the formation of leaks
More generally, poor installation and reparation approximately done
EXTREME ULTRA, LEAKSTOP FOR THE VEHICLE AIR CONDITIONG (and more)
EXTREME ULTRA is a high-performance leak stop, useful in vehicles A/C systems (and also in buildings A/C systems).
Designed in ERRECOM labs, Extreme Ultra is the ideal solution to repair refrigerant gas leaks, by guaranteeing a complete, permanent and elastic endurance of the system.
ITS PLUSES ARE MANY:
Its formulation is 100% safe: as a polymer-free sealant it does not react to air or humidity, avoiding any possible clogging
EXTREME ULTRA is safe even for the operator: the product is classified as not dangerous. On the contrary, other solutions now on the market are defined as cancerous. EXTREME ULTRA is not
Errecom labs have projected a solution that, thanks to more complex and innovative molecules, guarantees better performances with a smaller quantity of product: only 6ml of Extreme Ultra can treat AC/R systems up to 21kW (6tons). These kinds of system were previously treated with 42ml
Compatible with all refrigerant gases, R134a & R1234yf included
It has UV dye addition
EXTREME ULTRA is a mix of components which are gas and lubricant friendly.
These components circulate inside AC/R systems, exactly as blood platelets do. The molecules inside EXTREME ULTRA are really similar to the flow: that is why they do not get separated. In case of leakage, they are dragged together with refrigerant gas and lubricant towards the outside of the system.
EXTREME ULTRA accumulates in the leakage point, slowing down the flow of the refrigerant gas.
The leak becomes smaller and smaller, the flow slows down and the quantity around the molecules reduces consequently. Therefore all the granules melt together, closing up the leakage perfectly.
Furthermore, EXTREME ULTRA is ideal for preventative application.
Extreme Ultra, leakstop for the air conditioner, is very simple to use: you need to follow just a few simple instructions to solve as best and quickly the refrigerant gas leaks in A/C systems.
Turn on the engine of the vehicle
Turn on the air conditioner and set it to minimum
Locate the low pressure valve
Connect the appropriate adapter (R134a or R1234yf) to the LOW PRESSURE valve, then connect the syringe to it and introduce the additive into the system
Keep the air conditioner on for at least 30 minutes
